TILLIT is made up by three separate assemblies. The wall mount, the arm and the bike rest. The wall mount is fixed to a suitable wall, the arm provides the movement and the bike rest is what you hang your bike on. The bike is supported underneath the top tube of the frame and underneath the steering stem.
This ensures that the front wheel does not fall to one side as the bike moves to position. A gas spring stabilises and assists the movement of the arm. It compresses and stores energy when the lifting arm is brought downwards and expands, releasing its energy when the lifting arm is allowed to move upwards.
This function also makes TILLIT safe to operate as it stops moving when you let go. It is important to state that the product does not automatically lift the bicycle. It allows for a one-handed lift by reducing weight at the same time as it guides the bicycle to a predetermined place on the wall. hen not in use it folds flat against the wall.
